La Commune opened it’s doors in November 2016 a few years after Le Syndicat, another very hip Bar in Paris. The two men behind these famous Parisian Bars are mixologists Sullivan Doh and Romain Le Mouëllic.
The Place:
If you are looking for a chill afterwork session with your friends or a place to spend the evening without any worries. La Commune is the perfect place.
La Commune opted for an exotic decor, with many hanging plants and cozy sofas that gives this special "jungle" atmosphere to the very large heated terrace.
Inside, the ambiance is not quite the same but all the more surprising. The all-concrete interior is very minimal and has this New York loft atmosphere to it. A very nice collection of spirits can be seen behind the massive countertop. The music selection sticks to these ambiances: Hip Hop or Reggae depending on the time.
What can you drink?
La Commune has a vast number of exotic punches that are unique in Paris. The creators of the Bar really wanted to re-visit this well-known beverage into a highly gustative drink. 5 major ingredients into making the perfect Punch: fruits, spices (or tea), citrus, sugar, alcohol, and not necessarily rum. The results are amazing.
Available for you are also different varieties of French Whisky’s, Rums, Absinth ect…
A “Tapas du Monde” can also be ordered if you are hungry.
